What is Blue Whale Game?
Blue Whale game is an internet game, the game emerged on social media in 2013. The game exists in many countries. The believed to be a suicide game. The administrators give daily tasks to members, and members have to complete daily for a period of 50 days. The tasks including, self-harming, watching horror movies, waking up at unusual hours, listening to certain genres of music, Sit down on a roof with legs dangling over the edge, Talk with a “whale” on Skype, Stand on a bridge, Go to a roof and stand on the edge, Make yourself hurt or sick, Cut your lip, Carve a whale on the person’s own hand, and more. In the end of, the participant commits suicide On the 50th day. The members also share the pictures of the challenges after completed by them.
This game is responsible for 130 suicides (globally) that took place between November 2015 to April 2016, Russian Newspaper.
The guy with the name of Philipp Budeikin is a 22-year-old creator of Blue Whale Game psychology student from Russian University, he stated that the purpose of the game was to “clean” the society by pushing to suicide those he deemed as having no value.

People who are drawn to play such games may themselves be going through psychological issues like lack of focus, interest, feeling inadequate or incompetent, Such individuals are lured towards challenges which give them a sense of purpose while defying the socially accepted norms which they may have failed.
People Commits suicide:
Veronika Volkova, Yulia Konstantinova committed suicide by the end of the challenges. Moreover, 130 people suicides between 2015 to April 2016 in the world. Yulia Konstantinova was jumped from the 14-story building, she also left a message ‘end’ on its Instagram account. Veronika also jumped from the roof of an apartment block in industrial Ust-Ilimsk.
psychiatrist Manish Jain from BLK Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi stated that
If the teenagers are seemingly lost, lonely and depressed, parents and school managements must take serious and immediate action to get them involved socially in the real world and divert their mind by providing activities or giving them something new to learn.
