Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has begun practices for Pakistan day festivities in Islamabad. Because of this, the capital’s airspace will stay shut for business aircraft for a few hours every day amid the following 10 days.
Islamabad airspace to remain closed for days for PAF Rehearsal for March 23 parade
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a notice to all carriers requesting that they reschedule their flights to and from the capital.As per CAA’s notice, every single business carrier working for Islamabad is requested to reschedule their flight activities from March 12 to March 22, 2018. No business flying machine will be permitted to enter the airspace or to take off from Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BIA) between 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM and from 2.30 PM to 4 pm.
Flight sources disclosed to ProPakistani that amid these timings, PAF airplane will utilize the airspace for aerobatic moves and furthermore arrive on BBIA.In Islamabad, PAF and business carriers need to utilize a similar runway and Air Traffic Control (ATC). Because of successive flying and arriving of contender airplane, no non-military personnel flying machine will have the capacity to utilize the airspace.

PIA Spokesperson advised that because of the conclusion of airspace over Islamabad PIA’s flight plan has just been changed from 12th March to 22nd March.The representative exhorted PIA travelers to contact their Call Center (111-786-786) about the adjustment in flight timings.
