On Wednesday, Pakistan army killed Indian soldiers in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani soldiers killed three Indian soldiers and five soldiers are injured in an across firing and shelling. The ISPR stated that,
Indian unprovoked firing along LOC in Rawalakot and Chirikot Sectors targeting civil population of villages Kakuta, Chaffar, Serian and Narakot, Pakistan Army posts are effectively engaging Indian posts.
The Indian soldiers hit the houses of Sakhi Kiani in a village near the border. The Children were martyred when the Indian forces hit the houses. Moreover, the ISPR said that the intermittent shelling still continues across the border.

The Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi told the UN General Assembly, she stated that,
All I can say to them is: do not underestimate Pakistan’s resolve and capacity to defend itself, Any Indian aggression or adventurism will meet a matching and effective response from our armed forces and the people of Pakistan.
After the incident, the Foreign Office summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh to lodge a protest about the incident of cross-border firing in Azad Jammy Kashmir (AJK).
Dr Mohammad Faisal also said, India is a “threat to regional peace” and security, and may lead to a strategic miscalculation. India continues to indulge in ceasefire violations despite calls for restraint.
According to the director general of the Disaster Management Authority, Zaheeruddin Qureshi,
Unprovoked firing by Indian forces across the LoC had taken 832 lives, left 3,000 injured and had damaged 3,300 houses in the first half of 2017.
